Product Description:

The FMC-FE14M Series TX to FX Network media Converter is a Fast Ethernet media converter that translates transmission signals from a twisted-pair 100BASE-TX cable to100BASE-FX fiber optic cable. It extends network data transmission distances beyond the 100 meters limitation distances of copper wire up to 120 kilometers by using Single Mode fiber optic model. The 100BaseTX-to-FX Media Converter is typically used to connect Fast Ethernet devices, such as 100Base-TX Hubs, at long distance.

The converter support single fiber or Dual fibers for option, and one RJ-45 Jacks, internal power supply. Six LED indicators are built –in for easy diagnosing and monitoring the status of power (PWR), Unshielded Twisted Paired (TPLNK) activity link, Fiber activity link(FXLNK), Full/Half duplex(DUP), LFP functional, 10M/100M data rate(100M). It can be configured automatically for full duplex or half duplex and data rate operation.

It is compact, cost-effective, low dissipative, high reliable and stable. It can be used in remote by standalone or used in local by 2U card adapter for 2U rack mount chassis applications, the rack chassis can be inserted into 16units media converter cards, and allowing all the converter to be powered by a single internal power supply. The rack mount chassis have dual power supply. The media converter and rack mount chassis can be locally managed on PLEXDA NMS management system when working with SNMP agent. With simple set-up and complete function management interface, it supports protocols like SNMP, WEB, TELNET and CONSOLE and realizes the integrated management to all chassis.
