Product Description

The FMC-FE14-Cseries TX to FX Network media Converter is a Fast Ethernet media converter that

translates transmission signals from a twisted-pair 100BASE-TX cable to100BASE-FX fiber optic cable. It extends network data transmission distances beyond the 100 meters limitation distances of copper

wire up to 120 kilometers by using Single Mode fiber optic model. The 100BaseTX-to-FX Media Converter is typically used to connect Fast Ethernet devices, such as 100Base-TX Hubs, at long distance. The 100BaseTX-to-FX Media Converter will connect servers or workstations located up to 100 kilometers from each other.

The converter is single core fiber optic connector (transmitting-TX and Receiving -RX are in one fiber cable), and one RJ-45 Jacks, external or internal power supply for option. Six LED indicators are built –in for easy diagnosing and monitoring the status of Power(PWR), Unshielded Twisted Paired activity link(Link/ACT), Fiber activity link(Link/ACT), Full/Half duplex(FDX), Fiber link up(FX), 100Base-TX link up (100) data rate. It can be configured automatically for full duplex or half duplex and data rate operation.It is compact, cost-effective, low dissipative, high reliable and stable. It issupport using in 16solts chassis rack.
