Transformers are the most important components in substations, which largely determine the reliability of the power supply system. Currently, by adopting online monitoring of transformers, the power system can continuously record various relevant data that affect the life of transformers in real time, detect potential faults early, and achieve status monitoring.
This system is based on industrial Ethernet and implements an online monitoring system for transformers based on industrial Ethernet. It mainly realizes functions such as system voltage monitoring, capacitive equipment monitoring, and environmental monitoring.
Considering the harsh electromagnetic environment inside the substation, this system uses industrial grade Ethernet fiber optic switches with EMC performance that can meet the power level 4 standard. It can be used normally in environments with strong electromagnetic interference in the substation, ensuring the stability of the online monitoring system.
The network structure of this system is a self-healing ring network, consisting of a central switch MIER-5428 and a front-end switch MIE-5210. Both switches support MR Ring fast self-healing ring network, with a loop switching time of up to 20ms, and can support remote management and fault alarm functions, greatly improving the security of the communication system.
